Calibration Engineer - Coventry - £38,000 to £54,000 plus excellent benefits

Engineer and Senior Engineer Level

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping one of the world's leading technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry recruit a Calibration Engineer, and the role comes with a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits.

In this role, you will be responsible for optimising the calibration of ICEs and hybridised ICE powertrains. The role involves planning, preparation and supervision of related vehicle tests, assessment and documentation of test results and delivery of calibrations. You may also be required to participate in vehicle test development trips.

In your first few weeks in this Calibration Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Plan and implement engine or vehicle development programs
  • Calibrate dataset development in-line with guidelines for the relevant attributes
  • Analyse results and prepare recommendations
  • Dataset validation for all ambient conditions both in facility and territory, including final reporting and documentation

  • BEng in Mechanical/Automotive or related engineering discipline
