A fast-paced and unique Aerospace business that designs, manufactures, and integrates advanced survivability solutions is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and modification of equipment, facilities and associated infrastructure, ensuring production continues to run efficiently with minimum disruption.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) of site, electrically and mechanically to support production requirements, ensuring safe, continual and efficient operations
  • Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns efficiently, to allow continuation of production activities
  • Ensuring that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished to reduce the quantity of breakdown repairs
  • Maintaining Building services in line with legislation and site expectations
  • Keeping up to date service records of all activities
  • Occasional weekend work to meet production deadlines and business needs

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -

  • Be a time served / apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer
  • Have completed training to the IEE Wiring Regulations (17th or 18th edition)
  • Be experienced within fast-paced manufacturing/production environments
  • Have a good understanding of hydraulic systems and compression moulding presses
  • Ideally have knowledge of steam generation
  • Ideally have a Forklift truck and MEWP licence

  • Working a rotating 3-shift, Monday - Friday (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am)
