Job Description:Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Metrologist on behalf of our client for their Coventry UKAS Laboratory. The role involves calibration and certification of Dimensional Measuring Equipment and Reference Masters, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibration of external and internal tools
  • Conducting calibration investigations and reports
  • Maintaining internal quality management systems
  • Providing clear and quick internal information

Requirements:

  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or experience
  • Experience in standards room and/or gauge inspection techniques
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and customer applications
  • Good working knowledge of dimensional metrology
  • Ability to work independently at various sites
  • Strong communication, organizational, and IT skills
  • Willingness to learn, well-organized, presentable, flexible, and self-motivated
