Role Overview:
As a Powertrain Systems Engineer, you will support Diesel fuel injection equipment systems for EU Diesel customers, focusing on project management, simulation, and testing while fostering strong customer-supplier relationships throughout engine development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage aspects of the Diesel Fuel Injection Equipment (FiE) System based on your experience.
  • Engage with customers to explain component applications and perform system analysis (specifications, pump capacity) and calibration (rail pressure control, injector characterization).
  • Oversee pre-development tasks, including control system development and engine demonstration projects.
  • Ensure tasks align with production workflows and meet project milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (2:1 or higher) in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and relevant Diesel experience, with customer interaction preferred.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and a proactive attitude.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and owning assigned tasks.
  • Solid understanding of diesel engine combustion and control systems.
