Project Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

  • Manage project time lines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Drive design for manufacturing and product quality, including prototype development and testing.
  • Oversee tooling, supplier relationships, and procurement, including contract negotiations.
  • Ensure product compliance and manage new program releases and engineering changes.
  • Control costs and drive value engineering initiatives to maximise efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Help to drive continuous improvement activities.

Project Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -

  • Experience in a similar role - Quality Project Engineer, etc.
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of QMS, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Able to use core tools such as 8D, APQP, PPAP, and Control Plans.
  • Experience leading a project and ability to monitor budgets.
