Your responsibilities include:

  • Setting and Operating CMM's to ensure accurate measurements are taken
  • Completing inspection reports
  • Working to tight tolerances on machined components for the Aerospace sector

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

  • ?????Strong background in Quality Inspection / Metrology / CMM
  • Previously inspected complex, safety-critical machined components for high-profile industries such as; Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Petrochemical, etc.
  • The ability to set and operate CMMs and/or Faro Arms - PCDMIs / Camio or similar would be advantageous
  • Ability to self-inspect parts using manual measuring equipment
  • Experience working on manual and digital measuring equipment including shadowgraphs, gauges, calipers etc
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of performing first-off, stage, and final inspection
  • Worked on small to medium-sized, precision-machined components
