What You Will Do:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, and fault rectification activities across various testing facilities.
- Ensure the continuity of testing through effective problem analysis, fault finding, and root-cause identification.
- Collaborate with engineering customers, test facility operators, and external agencies to maintain a high-quality testing facility.
- Adhere to and enforce Health and Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments and COSHH, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize computer literacy skills to produce plans, presentations, graphs, and documents necessary for operational success.
- Validate, prepare, and interpret electrical/mechanical/flow diagrams to support testing activities.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in Emissions, Mechanical, and Electrical domains, with a strong emphasis on fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Experience of calibration, maintenance and repair of emission measurement equipment and systems, including experience with Horiba/AVL measurement equipment (MEXA, i60, Particle Counters etc).
- Experience in the operation of data acquisition and automation systems, and data quality tools including Concerto and Tableau.
- A track record of performing preventative maintenance activities and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and self-motivation, coupled with a robust technical capability.
- Experience with calibration, maintenance, and repair of emission measurement equipment and systems is preferred.
- An apprenticeship, NVQ3, or relevant technical experience in your core competence.
