The Role of Workshop Technician:
- Based in Coventry workshop, joining an existing team and working 8 - 5 Monday to Friday with overtime available.
- Predominantly carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and tests, wiring and mechanical modifications as well as recording any issues and fixing equipment so that it will pass installation criteria on customer's site.
- You will help with the repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining a range of machines which have been returned to the workshop.
- Working on electrical systems as well as mechanical components, alongside small, pressurised steam systems.
- You will be testing your existing engineering knowledge and developing new skills along the way.
The Candidate for the Workshop Technician:
- Basic electrical skills such as wiring a plug, using a multimeter, etc.
- Electromechanical engineering experience is beneficial.
- A problem solver.
- Able to commute to the Coventry workshop daily.
- Driving licence is essential as there are times you will be needed to drive a company vehicle.
- Good communication and IT skills.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
The Package for the Workshop Technician:
- £25,000 - £27,000 Basic Salary
- 8-5 Mon-Fri + 1hr lunch break
- Use of pool vehicle if required
- Competitive optional overtime opportunities (10 - 20 hours per week on average available)
