We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join a leading EdTech company committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences to its valued clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with Multi Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, and high-revenue clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities. Location: Midlands, Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Account Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for key customers, ensuring their satisfaction and success with the company’s products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with Multi Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, and other strategic clients.
  • Lead strategic reviews, check-ins, and product updates to drive retention and growth opportunities.
  • Proactively engage customers to identify and respond to their needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Business Growth:

  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Work to establish centralised contracts within Multi Academy Trusts that currently lack overarching agreements.
  • Lead outreach efforts to target new clients, including Local Authorities and high-potential organisations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor and support colleagues by sharing best practices and ensuring continuous improvement across the team.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of professional development.

Reporting and Strategy:

  • Use CRM tools to track account health, analyse trends, and generate insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Education teams to drive customer engagement and brand visibility.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in a key account management or customer success role, ideally in the EdTech or SaaS sector.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Ability to work independently, self-manage, and maintain high performance in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working with Multi Academy Trusts or in the education sector.
  • Knowledge of the EdTech landscape and SaaS products.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
