We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join a leading EdTech company committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences to its valued clients. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Account Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for key customers, ensuring their satisfaction and success with the company’s products.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with Multi Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, and other strategic clients.
- Lead strategic reviews, check-ins, and product updates to drive retention and growth opportunities.
- Proactively engage customers to identify and respond to their needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Business Growth:
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Work to establish centralised contracts within Multi Academy Trusts that currently lack overarching agreements.
- Lead outreach efforts to target new clients, including Local Authorities and high-potential organisations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Mentor and support colleagues by sharing best practices and ensuring continuous improvement across the team.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of professional development.
Reporting and Strategy:
- Use CRM tools to track account health, analyse trends, and generate insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Education teams to drive customer engagement and brand visibility.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven experience in a key account management or customer success role, ideally in the EdTech or SaaS sector.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Ability to work independently, self-manage, and maintain high performance in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with Multi Academy Trusts or in the education sector.
- Knowledge of the EdTech landscape and SaaS products.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
