The metrologist opportunity:
Reporting to the Metrology Supervisor and Working as part of a small but highly skilled team of metrologists, metrology inspectors and product technicians. The role includes a mix of CMM and remote checking using a variety of measuring equipment across a range of automotive components including gears, mechanisms, powertrain casings, combustion engine parts, and battery EV and Electronic Drive units.
The metrologist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
. Measurement of a multitude of complex machined automotive components using varying types of measurement equipment
. Daily laboratory activities to support requirements for Metrology requests.
. Producing comprehensive measurement reports
. Technical support to all levels of internal stakeholders and customers
. An open, honest, inclusive and collaborative approach, striving for high quality results
