The key responsibilities of a Distribution Coordinator:

  • Ensure ownership of all your customer relationships.
  • Keep internal relations including suppliers and drivers.
  • Provide each customer with a high level of customer service by listening to the customers’ needs and providing a level of care and attention deserved to our clients.
  • Collaborate within the team to clarify orders, facts and run smoothly
  • Taking and scheduling orders
  • Administering the allocation of products, repairs, charging, receipts and despatch
  • Liaising with service engineers
  • Ensuring contracts are in place
  • Responding to customer queries and price requests,

The minimum requirements for a Distribution Coordinator:

  • Strong customer service and administration experience - ideally shipping / distribution experience
  • Great with IT and new systems
  • Confident personality and exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to multi-task efficiently

The ideal candidate for Distribution Coordinator:

  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous
  • Committed and reliable
  • Easy to get along with
  • High attention to detail with a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Enjoy a team-based environment
