About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees, while maintaining compliance with current regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payrolls accurately and on time

  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity

  • Handle new starters, leavers, and contract changes

  • Process statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) and deductions

  • Resolve payroll queries from employees and managers promptly

  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate reporting

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a payroll administration role

  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices

  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. Sage, ADP, Xero, etc.)

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • CIPP qualification or working towards it

  • Experience with pensions and benefits administration
