Compliance Manager (Energy / Utilities)

Our client, a fast-growing and innovative Energy Consultancy, is seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee and support the delivery of energy projects, ranging from electric and heat generation to fuel sustainability, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and incentive schemes. Responsibilities include conducting site visits to verify compliance with relevant regulations, as well as leading and developing a small team of Project Engineers, Graduates, and Apprentices. Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a small team of Project Engineers, Graduates and Apprentices
• Deliver projects and consultancy services for clients (RHI, FiT, ROC and other schemes)
• Scoping and proposing work required
• Gathering information both from sites and remotely
• Assessing and calculating solutions to meet client needs
• Preparing and delivering reports or compliance activities
• Presenting findings and concepts/ideas in both formal and informal settings
• Support the research and technical evaluation of projects
• Deliver services in a high quality, timely manner and within budget
• Develop strong relationships with clients

Skills and experience required:

• Experience of managing a small team
• Experience of government compliance and regulatory schemes - Energy/Utilities
• Educated to degree level or equivalent - Energy, Engineering or Environmental subject
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects
• Good IT skills including MS Office and AutoCAD
• Ability to analyse complex data and present this in an easy-to-understand format.
