This is a hybrid working role for a Director of Governance and Compliance offering a salary of up to £100,000 pa plus benefits package.  Joining the team of a Start-Up Automotive OEM your role focus will be to support growth by delivering exceptional quality. Working in a highly regulated environment you will strive for operational excellence and adherence to best practices while adopting a forward-thinking approach to the evolving quality landscape.Your responsibilities as Director of Governance and Compliance will include:
  • Overseeing relevant ISO initiatives and collaborating on quality management systems.
  • Governance and Compliance – Reviewing existing procedures, monitoring changes in laws, regulations and industry standards. Assisting in developing and implementing new standards as required.
  • Audit - Coordinating the scheduling of audits, ensuring they cover all conformity and risk management aspects, addressing any gaps or weaknesses.
  • Leadership – Supporting the development and management of the compliance function, leading and coaching the team in Health & Safety, Risk Management, and Corporate Policy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Risk - Embedding a culture of risk mitigation and governance throughout all processes.
  • Stakeholder Management - Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, stakeholders and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and proactive engagement.
