A primary school in Coventry (on the outskirts of Bedworth) has a Year 1/2 vacancy to start asap. You will have full responsibility of teaching and learning. The role at the moment is a temporary role until Christmas, but as they have a gap, this might turn to something longer term or indeed a permanent position if it is something you would like.
As part of this role, you will be required to undertake all planning and preparation as well as attend staff meetings and parents' evenings if any are booked from now until Christmas. As you can see, this is a mixed year group (Year 1 and Year 2) which comes with its challenges, but will be joining a supportive team.
What you'll need to succeed
- You must have a good knowledge of the primary school KS1 National Curriculum.
- You must have experience of teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT
- Be flexible, approachable, understanding and empathetic
