This one-form entry primary school in South Coventry is looking for a full-time PPA teacher to start in January 2025 on a full-time basis. This Catholic school is easily accessible from Kenilworth, Rugby and surrounding villages. This school is full of hard working and dedicated staff that ensure that all pupils are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Your new role

Your new job as a PPA teacher will be to cover a range of classes from Reception - Year 6. This will be covering a range of things including management release time, ECT time and course cover. You will be teaching pre-planned lessons to a range of year groups and will be required to mark the work at the end of the day according to school policy.This role will be suited to ECT's as well as more experienced teachers.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this new job, you will need to be happy to teach all year groups from Reception - Year 6. You must be flexible and happy to adapt as things can change last minute. You must be confident in a range of behaviour management strategies and enjoy working with a wide range of children, LSA's and other staff. Ideally, being Catholic yourself or having experience in Catholic school previously would be desirable but not essential.In return, you will be:

  • Have guaranteed work 5 days a week without planning responsibility
  • Have guaranteed work until July 2025
  • Be supported by one point of contact at Hays
  • Accrue holiday pay and have the option to pay into a private pension.
