The Role:

  • As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of schools in the Midlands when their regular teachers are unavailable.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons across different year groups, adhering to the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes students' academic and personal development.
  • Effectively managing classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere. Providing constructive feedback to students and supporting their individual learning needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in primary schools and a thorough understanding of the primary curriculum. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
  • Flexibility and availability for day-to-day supply work.
