Hays Education work with a number of schools in the Coventry area on an exclusive partnership basis, providing high quality day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply cover. We are looking for excellent teachers who are looking to work on a supply basis within Early years, Key stage one or Key stage two.
Your new role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom activities effectively in the absence of the regular teacher
- Adjust to different classroom environments and age groups
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
- Assist students with their learning, providing additional support as needed to ensure they understand the material
- Maintain open lines of communication with permanent staff, reporting on student progress and any issues encountered during the day
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS)
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- Excellent classroom management
- Strong communication
