The company is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with a manufacturing background to join their team in Coventry.
The role involves leading supplier performance improvement initiatives and ensuring quality standards in aerospace manufacturing projects.
Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in supplier audits and development, with a strong understanding of aerospace quality standards like AS9100.
The position offers a very competitive salary along with a 10% bonus and various company benefits including career development opportunities and a pension scheme.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives across aerospace manufacturing projects
Drive key supplier processes, audits, and root cause investigations
Ensure effective containment, corrective actions, and Zero Defect programme implementation
Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and source transfer programmes
Analyse nonconforming data and drive resolution strategies
Manage supplier development using APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and root cause tools

Supplier Quality Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Posses an Aerospace quality background with working knowledge of AS9100, AS13100, AS9102 would be beneficial
Experience in supplier audits and supplier development
Proficient in APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Control Plans
Confident in problem-solving, lean manufacturing, and using SAP systems
