Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Parts Quality Inspector to join a global armour technology manufacturer and vehicle integrator. This full-time Quality Technician role is based in Coventry and is a fixed-term appointment for 6 months with possible extensions. The role comes with a rate of £17.00 - £20.00 per hour.
As a Quality Inspector, you will specifically support the Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares (VSSS) Team and the global expansion of our military vehicle engineering and technical services operation. This part of the business specializes in complete vehicle integration and support solutions, including the Protected Mobility Engineering Technical Support PMETS contract.
In your first few weeks in this Quality Technician role, you can expect to:
- Ensure that identified standards, specifications, and procedures have been met
- Utilise appropriate tools, gauges, and measurement equipment
- Input, record and monitor Quality Traceability Data
- Report and communicate quality performance
- Work closely with the production team and support continuous improvement
To apply for this Quality inspector role, you will need working knowledge of ISO and quality inspection techniques. You will also require the following:
- Working knowledge of current Health and Safety and Environmental legislation
- Competent knowledge of AQ standards.
