Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality in automotive manufacturing? We're seeking a skilled Quality Inspector with specialised expertise in composites to join our dynamic team based in Coventry.

Role Purpose

As a Quality Inspector engineer you will be supporting daily quality checks by identifying and reporting any quality defects within composites and identifying defect point of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using Metrology equipment such as Vernier Calliper's, Micrometres, CMM equipment (Track Scan).
  • Running and creating programs within Polyworks Metrology software
  • Generating reports using quality systems to a high standard for customer feedback.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings.
  • 5S, Kaizen, and TPM
  • Use of Microsoft office 365.
  • H&S, Lean and 5S Awareness.

Requirements

  • 2 Years experience within the Composites industry.
  • Experience within a Quality department and its procedures.
  • Experience with CMM equipment and Polyworks Metrology Software.
  • To be able to discuss and feedback Quality issues in an effective and efficient manner.
