Our client a leader in packaging equipment, consumables, and servicing for operational logistics and fulfilment are looking for an expeirnece Welder Fabricator to join them, they have helped customers improve productivity and efficiency across europe and the world for more than 50 years.
Are you an experienced Welder Fabricator with a knack for leadership and a passion for R&D and prototyping? We’re looking for a Fabrication Workshop Manager to head up our workshop, leading a talented team and overseeing fabrication projects from concept to completion.
What You’ll Do:
Workshop Management
- Manage all workshop activities and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Plan production schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee procurement.
- Ensure quality standards are met and provide cost estimates for projects.
Welding & Fabrication
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, working with sheet metal and powder coating.
- Interpret technical drawings and operate welding machinery.
- Conduct inspections to ensure high-quality outcomes.
R&D and Prototyping
- Collaborate with design teams to create and test prototypes.
- Reverse engineer products and improve fabrication processes.
- Transform concepts into functional prototypes.
Team Leadership
- Lead and train workshop staff, fostering a safe and productive environment.
- Evaluate performance and ensure project timelines are met.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator and Workshop Manager.
- Expertise in metal fabrication, welding techniques, and safety standards.
- Experience in R&D, prototyping, and interpreting 3D CAD files.
- Solid leadership and problem-solving skills.
