Location: Coventry (Own transport required due to site location)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience in press shop operations, industrial power presses, and production management is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Production Controller to meet business needs.
* Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
* Manage raw materials, consumables, and supplier call-offs for production and warehouse areas.
* Ensure adherence to company quality standards and compliance with industry regulations.
* Investigate and resolve production-related issues effectively.
* Support machine setup, operation, calibration, and maintenance.
* Organize repairs and upkeep of plant, equipment, and facilities.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Provide leadership in workforce planning, ensuring adequate coverage during absences.
* Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role.
* Strong understanding of press tools, power presses, and factory operations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with production management systems.
* A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a respectful and professional attitude.
* Own transport is required due to the site's location in Coventry.
