The company are a leading manufacturer of products and solutions for the security/defence industry.
The business are seeking to recruit a Production Team Leader for their operations.
The main responsibility for the role is to manage and supervise the respective production department and overall responsibility for the running of the department.
Responsibilities
As a production supervisor, the duties are as follows;
- Organise and allocation of manpower to meet production targets.
- KPI analysis and communication of them throughout the team and department.
- Ensuring daily output production targets are met.
- Maintain operational excellence and problem solve where issues arrive.
- Performance manage the team.
- Carry out skills matrix and audits to maintain department standards.
- Ensuring stock levels are correct and books are completed in a timely fashion.
- Identify team training needs and to carry out first line HR duties.
Key skills for this role are as follows;
- Previous experience of working in a production / manufacturing environment as a team leader, manager or in a supervisor position.
- Excellent communication skills and able to do so effectively at all levels.
- Good organisation, able to multi task and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to working hours and able to work the designated shifts for the position.
The shift is 3 rotation - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am- changing weekly.
Salary is up to £36k per annum.

The role is based in the Coventry area, so is commutable from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Kenilworth, Solihull, Birmingham, Solihull, Rugby, Hinckley.
