Project Manager

Space 8 Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering this Coventry-based company to recruit a permanent Project Manager. The role is office-based to the South West of the City.

This company is steeped in heritage having been established for over 50 years, and in recent years with a dynamic & progressive management team in place, it has grown in turnover by 20% year on year. Plans for the next 3 years are equally ambitious with a further steep growth curve anticipated as the company goes from strength to strength.

The Role:

The role of Project Manager is a brand new position to support the business by managing a wide-range of projects. It is a stand-alone role reporting to the MD and Technical Director and is a brilliant opportunity to be an integral part of this company's exciting growth plans.

• Project planning; Defining project scope, goals, tasks & resource
• Stakeholder management; Collaborate to define project scope & objectives
• Risk management; Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Team Leadership; Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a high-performance environment
• Quality Assurance; Ensure projects adhere to regulatory requirements
• Reporting & documentation; Prepare and present project status reports to senior management. Maintain all project documentation.

What are we looking for?

• The successful candidate will be a Project Manager currently
• Experience of Project Management including project management methodologies and tools is essential.
• We are looking for someone who is passionate yet pragmatic, a team player with a "can-do" attitude who can get people behind projects and get the job done!
• We are looking for someone who is solutions driven, agile and can work in a fast-moving, growth environment
• Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an advantage but is not essential
