My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Coventry working on a wide range of exciting projects within the built environment, helping to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the successful completion of projects within the built environment within the East & West Midlands.

You'll be part of a growing team, and play a key role in driving project delivery, managing client relationships and collaborating with, designers, developers and across various multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • A recognised qualification in Project Management (e.g., APM, RICS, or similar), ideally with a focus on the construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven experience managing projects in the built environment, with a solid understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC or JCT, and experience managing pre- and post-contract responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and experience working in compliance with health and safety requirements in construction projects.
  • Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in project delivery, ensuring all work is completed within the defined timeline, scope, and budget while meeting quality standards and client expectations.
  • Lead the creation and execution of detailed project plans, setting clear objectives, and timelines to ensure a successful and efficient completion of each phase.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks or issues and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimise any negative impact on the project's delivery, schedule, or budget.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide leadership with consistent updates on project progress, challenges, and key achievements.
