Location: Coventry
Salary: £32,000 (with bonus scheme post-probation)
Annual Leave: 30 days inclusive of Bank Holidays

Summary:

We are seeking an organised and driven Inventory Team Leader to oversee and manage inventory levels effectively to meet the company’s operational needs. The role involves daily inventory checks, monitoring stock movements, maintaining accuracy in records, and optimizing stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations. As a multi-site position, flexibility to cover any site is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Monitoring: Conduct regular perpetual inventory checks, ensuring stock integrity and effective housekeeping.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, generating reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Stock Optimization: Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, proposing solutions for optimized stock levels.
  • Stock Control & Compliance: Organize and lead stock-taking activities, ensuring safe and regulatory-compliant storage.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain precise records that meet audit standards.
  • Coordination: Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure accuracy in stock picking and delivery processes.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine inventory control procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Variance Management: Investigate stock variances, implementing measures to prevent future discrepancies.
  • Product Range Setup: Support operations with new product ranges, bins, and setups.
  • Team Support: Assist and collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.
  • Operations & Admin Support: Provide support to the Operations Manager and assist with administrative tasks as required.
