We are pleased to assist our longstanding and highly valued client with their temp to perm opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator. This would suit a person wishing to start a career within Purchasing.Hours of work, Monday to Thursday 07.30 - 16.00 and Friday 07.30 - 12.30 (37 hour working week).Duties to include:-* Reception and switchboard duties.* Assist with data entry, maintaining and updating office databases.* Communicate with Suppliers.* Expedite Purchase Orders.* Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying and filing.* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.* Support the team members with administrative tasks as required.* GCSE qualifications in English and Maths* Business administration NVQ Level 2 or 3 an advantage.* Experience of administration in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage. Used to working as part of a small team and being flexible to carry out any task required to ensure customers' needs are met.* Experience in dealing with customer and suppliers via the telephone or email* Able to communication with people at all levels.
