Senior Buyer - Automotive

This will require you to use your engineering knowledge and commercial skills to build robust relationships with not only key suppliers but also internal engineering teams. You can expect it to be a busy environment with a healthy mix of tactical purchasing but with an eye firmly on the longer term strategy, so no doubt very rewarding. The Role;

Alongside the mix of tactical and strategic duties, as a senior buyer you will play a key role in developing the performance of their existing supply chain and sourcing new suppliers. These suppliers could be national and international and you'll liaise with cross functional team. With this senior role you'll have the opportunity to help develop junior team members also.

What you will need;

Previous engineering purchasing experience
Ability to read an engineering drawing
To be a self starter and proactive to problem resolution
