We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our client based in Coventry CV4 on a permanent contract, on Night Shift. Our client is a recognized leader in the oil and gas industry, known for its innovation, excellence, and commitment to operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect components for Oil & Gas industry.
- Use precision measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres, gauges, CMM) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to maintain quality control.
- Identify and report non-conformities, defects, and deviations.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare quality reports.
Requirements:
- Experience in quality inspection components for the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and CMM inspection technology.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
