Due to recently awarded tenders a specialist civil engineering contractor are seeking to recruit an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on a major civils / infrastructure in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

Working alongside a Senior/Managing QS

Overseeing cost control and commercial management for a major project

Reporting to and collaborating with Senior Commercial staff

Prepare monthly project commercial reports.

Managing and mentoring a Quantity Surveyor

Ensuring accurate cost forecasting and budget management

Handling contract administration, particularly NEC

Maintaining effective communication with contractors and stakeholders

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying (BSc/HNC or similar)

1 - 3 years experience in quantity surveying on a civil engineering project within infrastructure, highways, structures, rail

Proficiency in cost control and contract management

Experience with NEC 3 contracts

Ability to work effectively in project teams within

Excellent communication and analytical skills
