Residential Conveyancer – Coventry

My client, a well-regarded regional law firm with offices across Warwickshire, is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join its dynamic team with excellent staff retention at its Coventry office.

 This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with at least 5 years of conveyancing experience to manage their own caseload, including freehold & leasehold sales & purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold & leasehold sales & purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients, exceptional client care and satisfaction throughout the process
  • Oversee the entire conveyancing process from instruction through completion, managing all relevant documentation, searches and deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other parties to ensure the smooth progress of transactions
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements at all stages of the transaction
  • Manage your own workload efficiently and autonomously, ensuring targets and deadlines are met

You:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing, with a strong background in handling freehold and leasehold transactions, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • Candidates may be Solicitors or Legal Executives, though my client will also consider individuals with extensive practical experience in conveyancing, even if they are not formally qualified
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and other professionals
