Administrator

Due to growth and investment our client is looking to expand their team in order to offer a high level of continued support to customers. The ideal candidate will have experince working as a Administrator, any exposure to engineering environments would be advantageous. However as a supportive employer our client is open to providing training to candidates with strong organisational and IT backgrounds within administrative environments, applicants must also have strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing of stock and incoming deliveries. Administrator

  • Supporting the purchasing team in sourcing high-quality products and materials.
  • Managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintaining accurate records and staying on top of purchase orders and inventory.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Utilising order management software for raising and processing purchase orders.
  • Quote requests
  • Expediting orders ensuring delivery date is met
  • Booking in all deliveries on the day of arrival ensuring goods correspond with the order
  • Allocating goods to job no. / stock / shop floor
  • Checking for any discrepancies / queries
  • Returning incorrect / faulty goods, or goods received in error
  • Updating the job book upon completion of projects.
  • Allocating invoice
  • Monitoring and recording fortnightly / quarterly supplier consignment stock
  • Arranging dispatch of customer goods with the couriers ensuring the relevant paperwork is attached, evidencing all proof of delivery.

AdministratorKnowledge skills and experience required

  • Computer literate including Microsoft packages.
  • Knowledge or a background of engineering would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative within timescales.
  • Accurate record keeping at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills.

AdministratorSalary and Benefits

  • 26,000 per annum (Negotiable dependant on experience)
  • 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish Friday
