We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Design Technology Technician to join our team on a full-time basis, with the potential for a permanent position.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of design technology lessons.
- Create and maintain teaching modules and resources.
- Operate and maintain workshop machinery, including pillar drills, band saws, and circular saws.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as changing belts and bands on machinery.
- Ensure a safe and organised workshop environment.
- Support students in their practical work and projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in carpentry and working with various woodworking machinery.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop setting.
- Ability to create and maintain educational modules.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
