Science Teacher – Coventry

September 2024 start

A Science specialist is required for a well-respected and welcoming mainstream secondary school in Coventry to start from September 2024.

The role would be teaching Combined Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 on a flexible supply basis. Your role is to help students achieve excellent results in Science whilst keeping a high standard of teaching and a positive and enthusiastic approach.

Science is a popular subject at all key stages, with a significant number of students choosing to take a Science subject at A-Level. The school has high expectations that are combined with outstanding teaching, leading each student to be aspirational and determined to succeed.

The successful teacher would need to be able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE Level. They will receive excellent support from the Head of Department and Senior Leadership.

Both experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.

This position could become a long-term supply post for the right teacher.

  • Must be happy to plan and prepare work
  • Fantastic work ethic
  • Excellent classroom and behavioural management
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
