We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable General Cover Teacher to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy teaching across a variety of subjects and year groups, providing cover in the absence of regular teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students are engaged and productive.

• Managing classroom behavior in a positive and proactive manner.

• Supporting students in their learning and helping with any questions they may have.

• Ensuring that all students are treated with respect and their well-being is prioritized.

• Maintaining accurate records of attendance and reporting back to school staff as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Previous experience teaching or working with secondary school students is preferred.

• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different teaching environments.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong classroom management skills and a positive attitude towards education.

• A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
