With a mission to provide compassionate and structured residential care, they're looking for a Senior Residential Care Worker to join the team and help make a meaningful impact.

As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you'll be an essential part of the care team, assisting in the management of the home and providing guidance to the residents. You'll work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure a safe, nurturing environment that meets regulatory standards, while also leading by example and mentoring junior staff. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop both personally and professionally within a dynamic, supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the home and ensuring high standards of care.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, family members, and professionals.
  • Ensuring that all activities align with the clients ethos and regulatory standards.
  • Acting as a role model for junior staff and providing mentorship, guidance, and regular supervision.
  • Promoting a safe, structured environment and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year working with children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), as required by the Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, prioritise tasks, and lead a team.
  • Attributes: Trustworthy, organised, and dedicated to making a positive difference.
