Duties:
Develop and implement programs and services to meet the needs of children and young people in semi-independent supported living.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Manage and supervise a team of staff members, providing guidance and support.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for each child.
Coordinate with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive care for children.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's care and progress.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services.
Requirements:
At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role.
Current registration as a Children's Manager desirable but not compulsory.
Experience working with children in a care setting.
Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial acumen.
Familiarity with home care practices and medication administration.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
