Children's Support Worker

Flexible Hours | 14-22 per hour (DOE & Location) | West & East Midlands

We are looking for compassionate and experienced children's support workers to work flexibly across the West and East Midlands in various settings, including:

• Mother & baby placements - Providing supervision and guidance to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Children's residential homes - Supporting young people with challenging behaviour, helping them develop life skills and emotional resilience.
• Family homes & community settings - Engaging children in positive activities, promoting well-being, and ensuring their safety.
• Supervised contact sessions - Overseeing and supporting contact between children and their parents or siblings, ensuring a safe and positive experience.

Our young people may have a range of needs, including ADHD, autism, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, self-harm, risk of CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation), absconding, and trauma-related behaviours. Your role will be to offer stability, encouragement, and compassionate care.

Pay rate: 14-22 per hour (depending on location, shift complexity & duration)
Flexible shifts: Long days, waking nights, short shifts & sleep-ins available

At least 12 months of experience working with children in a care setting within the UK
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
Ability to manage challenging behaviour and work with complex needs
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
