Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join an NHS service in Coventry on a contract basis. This role offers a great opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking to transition into a community-based setting.

Job Details:
  • Location: Coventry
  • Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
  • Contract Type: Temporary (ongoing)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: £21.50 per hour (LTD Umbrella)
Job Responsibilities: As a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), you will be responsible for:

  • Providing mental health support to individuals within the community.
  • Conducting initial assessments and developing tailored care plans.
  • Managing a caseload of service users, supporting their recovery and well-being.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams including doctors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Delivering risk assessments and crisis interventions when necessary.
  • Administering medication and monitoring patients responses to treatment.
  • Offering psychoeducation and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Ensuring documentation is up to NHS standards and maintaining accurate patient records.
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with NMC registration.
  • Experience in mental health nursing (inpatient or community settings).
  • Strong understanding of care coordination, risk management, and crisis intervention.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential).
