Your new companyDue to the recent expansion of our fostering service, we currently have a number of new and exciting opportunities for Social Workers to join our service and play a central role in delivering high-quality and responsive social work within Coventry.

Your new roleAs a supervising social worker, you will be working with Foster Carers to ensure the needs of the children are met. Tasks include undertaking regular supervision with foster carers, LAC reviews, stability meetings, team around child meetings, completing foster home reviews, working towards permanency for children. Good time management, prioritising, communication, report writing are essential. You will also have knowledge of fostering national minimum standards and fostering regulations and knowledge of PACE.

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Mon-Thurs) & 8:30am - 4:30pm (Fri). Can be flexible with this.

Hybrid Working: There is the option to work from home. However, you will need to be able to respond to emergencies and see clients and to attend team meetings, fortnightly and for any reviews etc.

What you'll need to succeedMust have 2 years post qualified experience as a Childrens Social Worker and hold a Social work qualification in either BA Social work, CQSW, DipSW, CCS or CCETSWPreferable experience in Children's Fostering ServiceMust have completed ASYEEnhanced DBS check Car Driver
