We are seeking compassionate, qualified and experienced Senior Children's Social Workers on behalf of our client to work across the Coventry area. These are full time role working 9.00-5.00 Monday to Friday. These are 6-month contracts initially.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and interventions for children, young people, and families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will manage complex caseloads, conduct assessments, and develop care plans while working collaboratively with multi-agency teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex child protection and safeguarding cases.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored care plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior social workers and team members.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and external agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and policy frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Post-qualification experience in children's social care.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
