  • Writing, executing, and maintaining test plans and strategies
  • Designing and reviewing test cases (yes, you get to tell the devs when they’ve missed something)
  • Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Performing non-functional testing and collaborating on DevOps practices
  • Quality-assuring third-party and offshore suppliers (you’ll be their favourite)
  • Helping keep releases fast, clean, and glitch-free
What we’re looking for:Must-Haves
  • Hands-on experience in software testing and QA
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Strong SQL/database testing skills
  • DevOps know-how (tools and practices)
  • A solid grasp of Agile environments
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Analytical, methodical, and detail-obsessed
Nice-to-Haves
  • Test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium WebDriver etc.)
  • JMeter experience
  • Experience with system migrations or transformations
  • Payroll testing knowledge (bonus points if you've danced with HMRC)
