The role
Are you a skilled Software Automation Tester looking for an exciting contract role? Join a leader in advanced home safety solutions, and help protect millions of lives with cutting-edge technology! They are seeking a Software Automation Tester to join our team on a 6-month remote contract. You will be responsible for automating test rig design using LabVIEW and SQL, ensuring robust and efficient testing of our safety products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using LabVIEW.
- Implement SQL-based data logging and analysis for test automation.
- Design and optimise test rigs to validate hardware and software performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document test failures and defects.
- Ensure test automation meets compliance and safety standards.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in software automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in LabVIEW for test automation.
- Experience working with SQL databases for test data management.
- Understanding of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
