Your new companyHays Education is working closely with a school in Coventry who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within the EYFS. This is a good school in Coventry with accessible transport links from across the city centre.Your new roleYou will be required to support within the EYFS on a full-time basis from January 2025. You will be required to support children with additional needs on a 1:1 and group basis, assist the class teacher, following lesson plans and arranging resources.What you'll need to succeedYou must be an experienced teaching assistant in the EYFS (KS1 and KS2 are also advantageous). You will have experience or knowledge of how to support children with additional needs, including providing 1:1 support, encouraging positive behaviours and following EHCPs. You must have patience, be firm but fair and be a role model.
