Working with Hays allows you to have a work-life balance and access to many other benefits and training.Your new roleHays are actively recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in Coventry. These jobs are to start immediately and will be on a long-term basis. You will be required to support children with complex needs on either a 1:1 or small group basis. The child/ren you will work with will have EHCP plans to follow. You will also liaise with their external agencies and internal school staff.What you'll need to succeedYou must be a confident, bubbly, friendly and patient teaching assistant. As this role will be working with children with complex needs, you must have experience working in an SEN setting. Whether that be in an SEN school or a mainstream school supporting children with SEN. Ideally, you will have worked with children with ASD, ADHD, non-verbal and those that display challenging behaviours. Ideally, you will be qualified in childcare, but this is not compulsory.
