SEN Teaching Assistant

Area: Stretton, Coventry CV6
Day Rate: £85- £100
Days: Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)
Contract: Long term to Perm
Start: ASAP

LTF Recruitment is seeking a committed and patient Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school located in the CV6 area of Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children on the Autism spectrum in an Early Years setting. The role focuses on providing one-to-one support for an Early Years pupil, with ASD and Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN). You'll be supporting them individually to help them build foundational skills and make meaningful progress. This position is offered on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent role.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience providing one-on-one support to young children.
  • Knowledge or experience working with children with ASD, SLCN, and non-verbal communication needs.
  • Familiarity with Early Years curriculum and developmental milestones.
  • Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour.
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or a degree in a related field.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
