Our small, nurturing secondary school specialises in supporting students with anxiety, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with primary experience to join our team and support our Key Stage 3 and 4 students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with anxiety, SEMH, and ASD.
  • Assist in the delivery of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to enhance student learning.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary setting.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by students with anxiety, SEMH, and ASD.
  • Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
