LTF Recruitment are looking for a patient and calm 1:1 SEN teaching assistant to work in our Primary school in the Radford area. This role will involve supporting a non-verbal child with complex ASD in Reception. The role is highly rewarding role involving support both inside and outside of the classroom both with learning and development, managing behaviour. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Has experience supporting children with complex needs (ASD, SLCN) on a 1:1 basis
  • Has previous experience working in a school environment
  • Have strong behaviour management techniques and experience with challenging behaviour (Team Teach trained desirable)
  • Has TA qualifications or relevant degree.
  • Can work as part of a team.
  • Has a sound understanding of the EYFS Curriculum
